Ok, maybe not Dragon Lance but still worth discussing. Besides, it's been mentioned in other posts so I wanted to have all the Harry Potter conveserations in once place. Now for the guidlines. The Order of the Phoenix has been out forever and I'm sure anyone who wanted to see the movie has so have at it. The book: The Deathly Hallows has just come out and people are probably still reading it. So please be careful what you talk about with that one so you don't spoil anything for anyone who hasn't finished it yet. That being said, here's a quote that made me decide to start this thread. Everyone have fun. Speaking of the latest movie, I thought it was short, and they cut out the best part of the whole book: Fred and George's escape! The swamp would have been cool to see. And Malfoy didn't get beaten up...grrr. Speaking also of Harry Potter, have you gotten the last book yet? I did and was finished with it in an hour after ripping it from the package.....no, I'm not obsessed, but I was with the series from the beginning....

Yes, the movie was way too short. But you must admit, the book was really long so there's no way they could have put everything in. My biggest complaint was that my favorite character, who was introduced in this book, was cut to just a few lines in the movie. I am of course, talking about Luna. rotflmao She's been my favorite ever since she was first introduced. And like you, I would have loved to have seen more of Fred and George's escape. As for the book, I don't want to say too much here because I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't finished it yet, but I will say it was awesome. I'm just shocked you finished it in an hour. You must be a speed reader or something. lmao

*smiles* I am a speed reader...There was no other way the book could haved ended. But she didn't have to do you know what to one of my favorite characters....Fred and George were my favorite from the beginning, heck with Ron, Harry and Hermione.....Luna is awesome too! She ranks up there on my top five.

I told someone they had a nargle on their back. The freaked out and screamed, "get it off! Get it off!" entertaining, until they realized I had just made a complete idiot out of them. Then I had to run away...

rotflmao I hadn't thought of that. I should try it in a crowed elevator. I just wish they would show more quidditch matches. I'm not into sports, but they are really good.

What's not to love about people ramming into each other on brooms? I kinda wish they would show other people in the match instead of just Harry and Malfoy and/or opposing seeker.

Yeah, I would have loved to see the one with Ron playing. What they should do is make a tv series about it. Sure it would be just a tv series, but they could make it look like a real sport.

I didn't know there was one of them. Can you make your own team or do you have to play what you are given?

to start with, you have to play one of the four school teams...then after you win the quiddich cup, you can play with any of the international teams except Bulgaria...I havne't figured out how to unlock that one yet. And you can play against another player as well.

Sounds like an awesome game. I'll have to check it out. Are there different types of brooms you can choose from?

Well, you're stuck with the brooms the players have for the school teams, but you can pick your broom, I think, at the international level...or else they've all got Nimbus 2000, 2001, or Firebolts, I don't remember.
