totally...and I haven't seen the preview since and I can't remember the name...it was like about some kid who gets killed and the only one who can see him is this girl and she has to help him find out who killed him...it sounded cool. Then I haven't heard anything else about it.

Yep, a lot of big names. But let's hope that all the DL fans do to this what the Harry Potter fans did for the Potter movies.

The Harry Potter books were out for a long time, but they didn't truly become famous (just think about the Barnes & Nobel thing, until after the movies were started.
So, hopefully the animated DL will do the same thing. My biggest problem is that the first book didn't really get into just how wonderful the Dragon Lances were and that may throw some people off.

People are idiots if they can't work past that. Dragonlance is awesome!

True. Still, it's a great reason to turn The Legend of Huma into a movie as well.

Totally...I don't see why movies can't be long either...they're getting longer every year anyway...you notice that? It used to be 1.5 hours on average per movie...now it's 2-2.5 per movie

Too right. I think Transformers was almost 3 hours long. I say, make the movies 3 hours, but give a little break in the middle of them.

Great idea. They really should have us working on movies with them. It'll be the only way to keep the DL move true to the books.

I kinda wish people would stop turning all the books I wanted to turn into movies, into movies! They're not leaving me much to work with, here! Me, I'd write the script myself just to ensure it sticks to the book.

lol I think they're running out of ideas for new movies so they're doing as many books as they can. I've even noticed it happening on TV. There's a new show coming out called Moonlight. It's about a detective who's a vampire. It's been done before. Only then it was called Forever Knight.
On the upside, it means the rest of the DL books should be made into movies as well.
